CLAIM1 and CLAIM1A October Updates

Following the LSC's recent announcement of changes to the CLAIM1 and CLAIM1A forms, we are pleased to announce that an update of iDraft CL1 and iDraft Pro is now available for download to coincide with the mandatory introduction of the new forms on the 3rd October 2011.

iDraft Pro 1.2.395 Released

The latest version of iDraft Pro is now available to download. New features include:

Success Fee VAT rate can now be overridden on individual Disbursements.
Replacements list can now be exported to Word.
Current Part can now be changed using Ctrl+F Keys.
Export to Word document selection now saved into PR1 file.
Replacements can now be captialised by capitalising the first letter of the input text on typing.

To add additional licences to an iDraft Pro order, you can now simply sign in to the Client Area and in the Orders section click 'Click here to add additional iDraft Pro licences to this order'. iDraft Pro 1.2.368 is now available to download. New features include:

Added Narrative Font Size preference. The font size used on the narrative input screen can now be customised.
Notes section added to Disbursements.
Option to export List of Disbursements added.
Added Include Blank Disbursements option.
Added option to limit CLS Total and Profit Costs by Amount and Percentage.

Following Lord Justice Jackson's proposals for the future of costs in civil litigation, iDraft LLP will ensure that iDraft Pro and iDraft CL1 will be updated as necessary to comply with any changes to the format of the bill of costs, which may be implemented. ALCD Conference 2010

iDraft LLP are again attending the 2010 ALCD National Conference on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th March at Savill Court Hotel in Windsor. VAT Rate Change

As from 1st January 2010 the VAT rate has increased to 17.5% and all invoices will now apply the new rate. Any order forms created when buying the software will still show the VAT rate at 15%. Please amend the VAT rate on the order form before sending the order form to us. This will not apply to version 1.2.366 onwards.

New iDraft Pro and CL1 versions released

New releases of iDraft Pro and CL1 are now available for download. iDraft CL1 1.1.102 now creates the November 2009 Claim1 and Claim1A forms. iDraft Pro has also been adapted to take into account the latest forms. The new releases are available from our downloads page.

CLAIM1 and CLAIM1A November Updates

Following the LSC's recent announcement of changes to the CLAIM1 and CLAIM1A forms, we are pleased to announce that an update of iDraft CL1 and iDraft Pro will be available prior to the mandatory introduction of the new forms on the 1st November 2009. The new update will install over the previous version, therefore we would only advise installing the new update on the 1st November. The current version will still be available for download from here should you require access to the old templates after the 1st November.

iDraft Pro 1.2.355 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of iDraft Pro. Version 1.2.355 includes such new features as:

Option to sub-total by Fee Earner Group.
Rates Applied in Part Header option. Rates Applied can now be shown Part-by-Part.
Notes section added to all Attendances and Document Items. Notes can be included in the Bill as footnotes.

The latest version of iDraft Pro is now available to download. Once again we've been listening to your recommendations for the program and have added several new features, including:

Added Column Ordering option. Bills can now be shown in 'VAT - Disbursements - Profit Costs' or 'Profit Costs - Disbursements - VAT' formats.
Main Item work can now be shown by individual Fee Earner Group.
Added 'Timed Letters Out' option. Party Attendances can now be marked as Timed Letters Out. A schedule of Timed Letters may also be produced.
Part Amount Limits now only apply if the limit has been reached.
...and many more.

iDraft Pro 1.2.307 Released

The latest version of iDraft Pro is now available to download. We've worked hard over the last few months to incorporate lots of new features, many of them recommended by existing iDraft Pro users. New features include:

Letters can now be shown as 'Letters' or 'Letters / Emails'.
Limit Part Profit Costs By Amount and Limit Part Profit Costs By Percent.
Default Fee Earner option for each Part.
Running totals for Bill, CLS Schedule and Estimate now shown in footer bar.
Total of estimated time is now shown at bottom of Documents window.
Fixed Recoverable Costs (under Section II of CPR Part 45).
Bulk Profit Costs.
Inline Enhancements option on Main Item.
Added Activity Log with Export function to aid tracking of changes.

iDraft CL1 Officially Launched!

iDraft CL1 has been officially launched today. iDraft CL1 is our complete Claim1 and Claim1A form package. Many of the standard features from within iDraft Pro have been carried through, such as the unique, easy-to-use interface, in-line spell checking, customisable replacements and the ever-useful preview function. iDraft CL1 also contains many features to aid the Claim1 creation process.
